Essence of Christmas
Christmas commemorates the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ who preached love, brotherhood and forgiveness and New Year celebrations signify welcoming the New Year and to bid farewell to the old one. This has a much deeper significance. As such every day of our life is new. The entire world is getting ready to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year. Children wait eagerly for the gifts Santa Clause will bring for them.
Christmas is a time to renew bonds of love. It's a wonderful time when loved ones can show appreciation for each other. It's also a great time to use that love to build bridges of understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. Christmas is best enjoyed when it isn't centered on decorations, gifts, or festivities, but when love is at its core. Love is the essence of Christmas. Christmas should mean taking quality time with your family and friends. It's about cherishing and celebrating the love you share. Christmas is a time to see the world through the eyes of love. It's a time to remember that the world is made up of people like us and to see them for who they are inside. All have problems like we do, no matter who they are or where they come from.
If people start loving one another just as fellow human beings, irrespective of the nationality, race, socio-economic status or gender, the world will become a much better place to live in. There will be no wars or disputes, when people become more tolerant and sympathetic towards other individuals and consider them as their brothers. When all learn to forgive others for their wrong doings, there will be no ill feelings left and all will be happy.
