This is the year 2018 theme which focuses about Filipinos striving hard. in fact, the advantages of this activity increases the chance to have a healthier living and lifestyle.

First things first, do we need to plant more? Isn’t the tree in our surrounding enough? What should we eat? According to Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines, Food Pyramid helps you to generalize and guide that lets you choose a healthful diet. It calls for eating variety of foods to get the nutrients you need and at the same time the right amounts of calories to maintain or improve your weight. There is a huge difference to this generation compared to the past years. Notice that mostly kids having illnesses because the lack of attention given to what they are eating. Mostly are chocolates, junk foods, and other sweets. Instead of focusing in preparing food with nutritional value, they rely in unhealthy foods like fast foods and street foods. Here in our province, we are surrounded with numerous trees. We breathe fresh air. We can freely plant our own fruits and vegetables which are safer because there are no chemicals added.

It’s better if we live a simpler life. “What we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action”.
