"INDEPENDENCE DAY"

Independence day is one of the most significant, valued and recognized dates in Philippine history because it marks  our nation's independence from Spanish on June 12, 1898. Filipino back then dream freedom. they want to express themselves through what they want to be. to be able to make their own decisions, to be able to live their own comforts and to be educated.

Our fellow countrymen were treated as a second class citizen in their own country and suffered a lot of injustice and cruelty at the hands of the Spaniards. we celebrate this by giving a flowers to our hero’s statue to show our respect and thankfulness to them. on this day too, there are no classes in the entire Philippines. Youth made a lot of flag lets to decorate around the campus before the Independence day. We, millennial use our social media accounts to share and comment things related to this day.

Without the unity, sacrifices, determination of our heroes, we will not meet our liberty. so we should continue teaching the next generations as years will pass by. This day reminds us of the sacrifice of our freedom fighters.
